翻轉教室:理論和實踐建議文獻回顧

什麼是翻轉學習?雖然目前並沒有唯一的模式,但普遍來講,翻轉學習可以用課堂結構來定義的,就是說老師為學生預先準備課堂內容,例如錄影視頻教學,然後同學們在上課之前進行研習,回到課堂內,老師和同學們就可以一起探討高階問題和較複雜的概念,進行協作學習的活動(Collaborative Learning)。老師在減少直接授課(Direct Teaching)的情況下,便能夠增加老師一對一輔助個別同學的時間了,另一方面,翻轉學習能夠達到學生為本,意思就是同學們能夠自行觀看教學視頻,並準備課堂活動和討論。
 
翻轉課堂策略:
1. 學生互動系統、開放式題目、測驗(Audience, Open Questions, Quizzes)
2. 分組和分享活動(Pair-and-Share Activities)
3. 學生分享(Student Presentations)
4. 翻轉課堂與主動學習互動(Active Learning Interacting with the Flipped Classroom)
 
翻轉學習包含了分析、討論、評估、創造之認知學習過程的元素,而當中我們會將這些主動學習元素跟不同的課堂活動融為一體,老師應該為學生設計不同的主動學習的活動,善用課堂互動系統(例如Classroom Response System, Clicker, Kahoot)、線上作業、示範等。根據Flynn的研究文獻指出,多元化的主動學習教學技巧,對於翻轉課堂是有利的。
